The first time I made it through this song I thought “What the hell just happened?” I still am not sure. But this video is very interesting and my brother beat me to featuring this song, but I think it’s cause at first it was a little too dance intensive for me. But as most electropop does, it grew on me.

Last Lynx – Curtains
This is such a cool track and awesome video. From Stockholm, Last Lynx is a great fusion of rock and pop. Hope your ears are pleased.
Henrik José – Fallacy
What do you get when you take a single simplistic verse and combine it with futuristic rhythmic beats? You get Henrik José’s “Fallacy”. I found myself going into a relaxed trance and he made his way through the song with just one simple verse. About three fourth of the way through he speeds things up to only bring you back to a state of simplicity. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.
Graveyard – Hisingen Blues
Out of Göteborg, Graveyard is an awesome psychedelic blues rock band and a perfect way to come to an end of Psych week. A little fact about Graveyard, they have their very own brand of beer. They effectively pull off that great 70’s heard rock sound. I hope that you let their groove feel you with a warm fuzzy feeling.
Witchcraft – Dystopia
From Örebro, Sweden, Witchcraft is another hard, psych rock band that is awesome. A litte more doom metal than the other bands I’ve featured but still as awesome. One word I can use to describe their riff heavy music is dynamic.
Dungen – Panda
So glad I never featured Dungen before cause it fit perfectly within my unplanned psych week. This will be the first band I feature that does not have an English song but their sound is too good to pass up the chance to put them out there.
The Janitors – Nevereverism
All I had to read off their website was “Swedish evil shoegaze boogie woogie and stökpsych a go go!” and I thought “Let’s do this!” I have said it before, and I’ll say it again. I don’t know what they put in the water in Sweden that spawns excellent musicians. Dark, gloomy with a hint of mysteriousness. Enjoy!
Les Big Byrd – Back to Bagarmossen
With bands such as Goat, I have been finding a few other great psych bands that are coming out of Sweden. Since I started the week with Goat, I am going to keep the theme going. This track features the infamous Anton Newcombe on guitar. But their other songs are equally as great and unique that I am going to include all three. Plus one has cat in the title, so how can i pass that chance up?
Goat – Hide from the Sun
My favorite Swedish Psych-rock band will release a new album in September. “Hide from the Sun” is the first track off their new album. Hearing this and from what my friends had said, I am really sad that I had to miss their show due to a work obligation. If you don’t know who Goat is, you should really look into their previous album. Their background is as interesting as their music.
Simian Ghost – Never Really Knew
Sparkly happy indie pop! Such beautiful lyrics and such a fun video. The song gives me a bright colorful feeling of happiness.
