The use of the word “Dream” in both their band’s name and song title truly encompass what their song conveys. A feeling of flying through your subconscious.

Album Review – Eternal Death –
For months, I have anticipated the new singles to be released by Eternal Death. Well my wishes were answered when h released their debut self titled album just a few weeks ago. For being a debut, it is simply amazing. There are not many albums that I can listen to all the way through and then listen to it again. Elin Berlin’s sweet vocals combined with the beautiful lyrics and explosive synth are perfect for those times when you just want to take a walk and contemplate where your life is going. The album brings forth a dynamic sound that gives the listen a mix bags of emotion. Whether your in the mood to fall in love, get excited, feel exhilarated, sad, or just want to question life. This album is for you. Below are my favorites:
i don’t speak french – Dawn of the New Age
I guess you could call them the sibling band of Stranded Mermaid. I don’t speak french brings groovy funk sound to take you back to the psychedelic rock age. With lyrics such as “It’s the dawn of the new age and I feel alive” this song brings forth the emotion of a new beginning. They are definitely talented and have the ability to switch between genre’s of music.
Throwback Thursday – ABBA – Under Attack
So I haven’t posted in over a week, and I feel bad about it and I have plenty of good stuff to show you but today I’m posting an ABBA song cause I am so excited for my trip to the ABBA Museum in Stockholm in just a few weeks!
So here is one of my favorites!
Alice Boman – Reason to Believe
A song originally made famous and well known by Rod Stewart, has now been covered by Alice Boman. With her sweet vocals and simplistic piano accompanied by atmospheric sounds to add depth, make you fall in love with this great song all over again.
Stranded Mermaid -No Bloodshed Allowed
One of my favorite bands of 2014 has already released something amazing two months into the year. With a slightly heavier beat but still embracing us with a hauntingly beautiful melody and melodic vocals to deliver a powerful message through deep lyrics. I wish I could have been an extra for this spectacularly eerie video. I may just have to find a forest to frolic in while listening to their music.
Mattias Svenson – Small Man
So I’ve posted female RnB artists on Swedes are Sweet, but never a male. So Mattias Svensson, I am so glad to make you my first. Smooth, and soulful this is the one cool jam.
PAL – Alone
PAL is back with a melodically beautiful new poppier song. If you anticipate something slow and melacholy, you will still get a bit of that but with a shift midway through the song. I get a little bit of Depeche Mode-esque Exciter synth feel in this song then it picks up to give you some solid upbeat pop sounds. This is probably my favorite song I heard this week.
Soul of Gaia – Roam
Magically simple and beautiful Soul of Gaia combines a simplistic melody of piano, with entracing vocals and sounds from Nasa. So sit back and let yourself “Roam” through the universe. Hopefully, if you’re lucky you’ll catch yourself a falling star.
Teaspoon – Dream Girl
I stumbled across this and I love the psychedelic feel that comes from my speakersIt doesn’t look like the band has posted anything in 3 years, but what I heard I really enjoyed. This band is, for lack of a better word…groovy!
