Call me – Change (Piano Version)

So there are two versions of this song, the synth poppy greatness that got first grabbed my  attention a few months ago and a piano version.  Just ethereal vocals and beautiful simplistic piano, Call Me’s new song change is magnificently glorious.  For a whole week I debated what version I was going to post and finally decided to go with the piano version.  It’s raw, lovely and hits me in my little heart.

School – So Long

I love School, and no I am not talking about the educational institution. I’m talking about the amazing band out of Göteborg. I wrote about School back in April when I first started my blog, but they are another band like Blessa from Sheffield that I can’t get enough of. They are also another band who puts out teasers making me want more. I was fumbling around at work trying to figure out what to listen to and I hit random and their song “So Long” came on. I know we are only half way through the years but I already know this will make my top of 2014. I am always scared to hear live recordings out of fear the band won’t sound great. But School sounds amazing. Identical to what their recordings sound like. I love it so much, I hope you can read the excitement and passion in my voice!

Mountain Bird – The Visitor

I’ve been waiting to talk about Mountain Bird for the video to be available in the United States…hint hint.  But I can wait no longer to introduce this dreamy pop band to you lovely people who read my blog.  I seriously can’t believe this song is the product of one person.  Beautifully breathy vocals, and atmospheric sounds make this  song amazing.  Check out the beautiful track

Westkust – Summer 3D

Not any offense to my friends with bands in Brooklyn, but I really wish that I lived in Göteborg when I hear a band like Westkust.  They are currently working on a new album and I can’t wait to hear what they have in store for us.  Many of you know my hesitation when I read something is shoe gaze.  I’d like to say this is a wonderful blend of twee, shoe gaze and dream pop.
