Are you ready for more dreamy stuff? I hope you are and I hope you’ve been taken into a dreamy state with Monday and Tuesday’s posts, I thought I’d stick with the theme for a little longer.
Pop
Dream Lake – In The Lights
Going to follow in the dream pop theme of yesterday and boy is this one dreamy. Another one to help your daydreams and make you put off working.
iamamiwhoami – Fountain
Another one I am surprised it’s taken me this long to put up. Shame on me because I should have recommended this a lot earlier than I am. Art Pop that is a delight for the ears! Happy Monday to you all, now day dream away!
LCTRISC – Gas And Cigarettes
I am surprising myself by liking this one. Makes me want to dance and shake and smoke cigarettes.
The Embassy – Roundkick
I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to feature The Embassy. Magical Electro Pop, and I love this song more and more every time I hear it.
Tove Styrke – Even If I’m Loud It Doesn’t Mean I’m Talking To You
Here is a fun pop song to take you into the weekend. Been four years since her first release and boy is this some good stuff. Artists drive me crazy making me wait but when they release something like this, makes the wait well worth it! Dance away sweeties dance away!
Throwback Thursday – ABBA
So I was talking to someone last week about my blog and they brought up Abba. I thought to myself, “hmm, I haven’t done ABBA yet.” So today, here is my ABBA blog. It’s so hard to pick one so I am going to pick those that have meaning and memories attached to them. Oh I hope ABBA reunites for a tour. I will fly to see them! So put your dancing shoes on and dance to some ABBA!
My favorite Singstar Karaoke song to sing with my brother
My song that reminds me of my best friend singing to me
And to the exes of my lifetime
And to my future boyfriend
This blog is dedicated to a blast from my past.
Britta Persson – Baby No Name
Released in 2013, but I just stumbled upon it, and this isn’t a blog strictly about new music and I don’t want to wait for Throwback Thursday. So let the discovery continue. Britta Persson has amazing vocals and great lyrics. I think you’ll enjoy it! And always, be ready to dance!!!!
We Are the Storm – The Rapture
I have no idea how to categorize this. It’s dark and I love it and I think it’s amazing. And I hope you do too!
Slottet- Take Me Home
More electro-pop Swedish goodness will be found when listening to Slottet. Featured last month by Brother Oblivious, this band is amazingly good. The song below reminds me of Postal Service. Just like Postal Service they put me into a lovely electro pop synth day dream. Enjoy!
