All it took was someone to light a little fire under my ass to make me want to bring you guys a better blog and an easier way to enjoy the music that I love and hold dear to my heart.  I dedicate hours of my time to bringing out what I feel is some of the best music in the world.  This blog is my heart, my soul, this “music is my boyfriend”(To quote CSS from Brazil).  I will continue to devote hours to bring you sweet sounds for all your pretty ears.

As you seen yesterday, I now have a Spotify account dedicated strictly to Swedes are Sweet.  The playlists are divided into each month.  I also realized not everyone has access to Spotify and you have to sign up to listen.  So I have created a Souncloud account that will have playlists for you to access without having to sign up for their website.  The playlists are not completed yet, but I will have them done soon. Les Big Byrd – Anywhere but Here

This week has been off to an exciting start with new music by some of my favorites.  Les Big Byrd has released an awesome new track called “Anywhere but Here”  It has the hashtag of boogie and that is rather fitting.  I am loving the groove of this song.

Green Leaf – Trails and Passes

This is quite different from what I’ve been posting lately.  If I had heard this without knowing they were from Sweden, I would think they were from the UK.  Greenleaf describe themselves as “rock n’ roll, psychedelic, stoner, doom, blues, hard rock, fuzz, metal, sludge, vintage 70’s style rawk.”  I like to see this as part of the comeback of guitar rock that Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkey spoke about.   This stuff is great rock and roll.  I love the blues guitar mixed with psych rock.  I am so glad I stumbled upon this.
