Every time I see that School has released a new song I get excited. This is an album I have been anticipating for the past few months. They continue to not let us down with their new song “Like You”.

Thisell – A Town of Window
I had no idea what to expect when Thisell contacted me about their album released a few months ago. I heard folk and I automatically assumed it would be something I was opposed to. But I was completely wrong. I can’t stop listening to their music. Lyrically beautifully with entrancing melodies that pull you in. I found myself day dreaming as I listened to their album “I”. The first time I gave it a listen at work and I would like to say it was beautifully distracting. When I listened to it again, I found myself being pulled into a state of hypnosis where all I could do was focus on the beauty of their music. I recommend setting some time aside where you will be distracted by no one to click the video below and let them take you into a beautiful world through their lovely music.
Thank you Peter for sharing your music with me! Can’t wait to hear your new music in 2015!
Zhala – I’m in Love
New song from Robyn’s protege Zhala. Continuing with the weekend dance theme Zhala leaves you craving for more. Why do the Swedes love to Tease??
Kleerup – Let Me In
Time for a new song from Kleerup. It’s been awhile since his last release but now he’s back with some dancey awesomeness to fill your ears and move your feet. Thanks to my awesome Brother for giving me the heads up, I am able to bring to you another dancey pop song for your Friday morning. The song features the amazing beautiful vocals of Norway’s Susanne Sundfør. Let’s start the weekend right by turning this up and dancing!
Throwback Thursday – Teddybears
It was hard trying to figure out what to post as my Throwback Thursday week, but after throwing a few songs my friends way. I decided on the Teddybears. Reason being, their music just makes you feel good and makes you want to dance. What I enjoy about them is that most of their music is electronic but they also throw some different stuff in to throw you off. They master various genres such as electronic, pop, rock and even reggae. Since they cover so many genres, it was hard picking just one song. You can also hear them in some movie soundtracks. Here are a few.
I have no idea why this one is my favorite.
Eternal Death – Fade
How did I miss this release last week? Oh, because I was on vacation. So yet again, another teaser from Eternal Death. But this time one with a bit slower pace to mesmerize you until their full album is released. Lyrically beautiful with an entrancing melody.
Radio Dept. – Death to Fascism
It always makes me happy when one of my favorite throwbacks releases new music. I’m like a kid in a candy store and if you knew me as a child you’d know that means I’m pretty damn excited.
It’s been four years since Radio Dept has released new material and today is the day I get to share it with you. I can’t wait to hear more as this song doesn’t disappoint!
Wouie – Haunting Feeling
Thanks to my Brother I found something new and amazing to show you today! This made me bop my head in the airport. Electro poppy and fun, Wouie makes me want to dance. And that is why it is perfect for Electro-Pop Friday. I highly recommend heading over to Soundcloud and listen to their other songs as well.
Neneh Cherry – Buffalo Stance
I have a long list of Throwbacks so I am just getting to Neneh Cherry. I dedicate this one to the ladies!
This is Head
I’ve been on vacation and not really taking time to research new stuff to give to you guys. So I am being lazy and doing a sorta repeat. Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to pick up This is Head’s on vinyl. So I am posting them again for those of you who missed them way back when I started the blog in April. Here are two of my favorites of the album
